Mayweather Promotions PR / Spokesperson Kelly Swanson Denies Female Reporter Ban
Repsonding to allegations from CNN’s Rachel Nichols and ESPN/HBO’s Michelle Beadle, Mayweather Promotions PR / spokesperson Kelly Swanson denied the reporters’ contention that they have been banned from the MGM Grand and #MAYPAC Fight coverage.
Swanson insists that both female reporters still have their credentials and that they are still valid.

Nike Releases “Do What They Say You Can’t” T-Shirts #MAYPAC
Nike, the world’s largest seller of athletic footwear and apparel, has launched a slogan “Do What They Say You Can’t” on various black / white Dri-Fit T-shirts designed for Professional Boxer Manny Pacquiao to celebrate his legendary “inner strength” the week leading up to his May 2nd fight vs Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The limited edition shirts went on sale at Nike Park in Bonifacio Global City in the Phillipines. The shirts are sold at a retail price of 1,695 Filipino Peso, which comes to about 38 US Dollars in today’s exchange rate. They were also distributed to Team Pacquiao currently in Las Vegas the same day.
The slogan is on the front of the shirt and at the back is the MP logo with the hashtag #MannyDoes. It’s not clear if Nike will ever sell these T-Shirts in the US. I hope they do.

Fistory has been made (or atleast the Contract has been signed!).
Pound for Pound King of Boxing Floyd “Money” Mayweather (47 wins, 0 losses) today officially announced his next opponent – 36-year-old, 10-time world champion Manny Pacquiao, who, until recently, was also the Pound for Pound King of Boxing.
Rather than take to ESPN or to Twitter, Mayweather announced that he has signed the contract to fight Pacquiao on a Social App called Shots.
