Every once in a while — and the frequency increases whenever a prolific professional Boxer announces his retirement — the internet goes in flame over how Boxing will die with that boxer, or that Boxing is already dead.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Last time I checked, the #1 most paid athelete in the World is a Boxer. At present, it’s still-undefeated Welterweight Champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr.
